Chris Herren Speaks on April 26

Don’t miss Chris Herren’s presentation on Thursday, April 26, at 7 p.m. in the high school gym. Chris, a former professional basketball player and motivational speaker, brings his anti-drug message to Ocean City. He will share his story of abuse with the audience in hopes of reaching just one person and making a difference in their life.

This event is free and open to the public. A live feed of the presentation will be available at the Ocean City Public Library. Please visit our website for more information.

Benefit by the Bay, a great success again!

Over 200 guests attended our annual Benefit By the Bay, held this year at Sandi Pointe Coastal Bistro in Somers Point. They enjoyed a great evening of wine and beer tastings along with an abundance of food.

The highlight of the evening came when we raffled a 46″ flat screen TV, a cruiser bike donated by Tuckahoe bike shop, an iPad, and a basket of cheer donated by Circle Liquors.

Thank you to everyone who attended and supported this event.

Our own Carrie Merritt and Kim Davidson taped a promotional segment for our upcoming Fitness Forum for an NBC40 Health Update.

The Health Update was/is on air at these times:

Monday: 7:20 a.m. and 1 time the 5:00 news
Tuesday: 7:15 p.m. and 1 time during the 4 p.m. to midnight schedule rotation
Wednesday: 7:20 a.m., 5:10 p.m. and 7:50 p.m.
Thursday: 7:15 p.m. and 1 time during the 4 p.m. to midnight schedule rotation
Friday: 8:35 a.m.
